Christine Chinana Tosa (b. 1950) learned to make pottery from her mother, Anacita Chinana. She was equally inspired by the work of her Mother-in-Law, Persingula Tosa. Each piece is coil-built, stone-polished, and painted. This red melon bowl has 12 ribs that are fully polished. It was fired a deep red. It is signed, “C. Tosa”. It is in very good condition with no chips, cracks, restoration, or repair.
