Mary Rose Toya (b. 1936) is a daughter of Elcira Madelena (Jemez/Zia).  She began making pottery around 1985.  This plate has a lizard in the center.  It is surrounded by rain, cloud, and plant designs.  It is highlighted with additional white clay. It is signed, “Mary Rose Toya”.  It is in excellent condition with no chips, cracks, restoration, or repair.
