Elizabeth Trujillo (1949-2017) began making pottery in the 1970s. Each piece is coil-built and slipped with white clay and painted with wild spinach (black) for the design. This open bowl has a rain and cloud design on the exterior. The interior of the bowl has a classic Cochiti rain design. The bowl was traditionally fired. It is signed on the bottom, “Elizabeth Trujillo”. It is in excellent condition with no chips, cracks, restoration, or repair.
