This bowl by Dora Tse-Pe is from the 1990s.  The bowl is fully polished red with a central medallion.  The medallion has a carved bear slipped with mica surrounded by black clay. There is a single band of turquoise hei-shi beads.  Check out the side views of the bowl, as you can see the cameo-style of carving for the bear!  It is signed on the bottom in the clay, “Dora of San Ildefonso”.  It is in excellent condition with no chips, cracks, restoration, or repair.
