WOW!  This is a spectacular large storage bowl by Jared Tso.  The piece is entitled, “Dine Moon”.  The bowl is coil-built from native clay and it has been slipped with white clay. There is a traditional Moon design in relief on the jar.  The jar has a slight angle as Jared moved the opening to the side instead of the top!  The jar is polished at an angle and then outdoor fired. The black areas are the fire clouds on the surface of the piece. It is amazing how the created the imagery of the full moon amidst the clouds!  Spectacular! The jar is signed, “Jared Tso”.
