This is the largest coil-built jar that Jared Tso has made to date.  It is a classic storage jar and the entire surface is fully polished in Jared’s swirl style. The piece was outdoors fired to create the blushes and varied colorations on the surface.  The rim of the jar has raised triangular arrowhead designs.  The variations across the surface of the jar are exceptional.  The style of the jar is classic Navajo Tus (a water or storage jar).  The scale of this piece, at over 27″ tall, is massive and striking in person.  The jar is signed on the bottom in the clay, “Jared Tso”.
