Carol Vigil (b. 1960) was taught by her grandmother to make pottery. This seedpot is coil-built, stone-polished, and fully etched. The piece has a medallion with a butterfly and a flower. The remainder is etched with interlocking flowers. It is signed, “Carol Vigil”. It is in excellent condition with no chips, cracks, restoration, or repair.
