Marcella Yepa (b. 1964) is known for her carved and polished pottery.  She is a cousin of Emma Yepa and learned to make pottery from her aunt, Alvina Yepa. This bowl is coil built and stone polished.  It has two carved ribs that are slipped with a green clay slip.  The remainder of the piece is polished tan, the natural color of the clay.  The bowl is signed on the bottom in the clay, “Marcella Yepa”.  Shipping is included.
