This is an amazing miniature by Santa Clara potter Nancy Youngblood. This miniature is one of her “micro-minis,” and it is deep carved, and has been fired red.   The jar has eight deeply carved melon ribs that extend from the rim to the base.  They are each fully polished. The inside of the neck is slipped with mica.  It is signed, “NY” and it is in excellent condition with no chips, cracks, restoration, or repair.
