4.5"w x 2.5"h

$ 200.00

Nellie Nampeyo Douma was a the second daughter of Nampeyo of Hano.  This small bowl is white slipped and painted with a migration pattern.  Note how the tips of the migration pattern are squared out in contrast to how they are often rounded out by other potters. The black is bee-weed and the red is a clay slip.  The bowl was traditionally fired and it is signed on the bottom, “Nellie Nampeyo”.  It is in very good condition with no chips, cracks, restoration or repair.  There is some very minor wear in the black areas.
