$ 800.00
This is a coil-built long neck jar by Samuel Manymules. It has a round shoulder and an elongated neck. The jar has diamond shapes carved around the shoulder. The entire piece is fully polished tan, the natural color of the clay. It was traditionally fired to create the coloration on the surface. After the firing, the jar is covered with pinon pitch in the traditional way expected of Navajo pottery. The jar is signed on the bottom, “SM”. It is from the late 1990s and it is in excellent condition with no chips, cracks, restoration, or repair.
