Anna Archuleta (b. 1953) began making pottery in 1953.  She is a daughter of Belen Tapia and a sister of Anita Suazo. This bowl is deeply carved with angular mountain and rain designs.  The lines are deeply carved and beveled. The surface is stone polished and the bowl was fired red.  It is signed on the bottom in the clay, “Anna Archuleta”.  It is in excellent condition with no chips, cracks, restoration, or repair.
