Blue Corn was one of the great innovative San Ildefonso potters of the late 1900s.  This bowl is coil-built, and the gray surface is fully polished.  It is painted with four stylized swans encircling the piece. They are painted with red and black clay slips.  It is an unusual design in her pottery.  It is signed on the bottom, “Blue Corn”.  It is in very good condition with no chips, cracks, restoration, or repair.
