Blue Corn – Red Bowl with 44 Feathes (1968)

Blue Corn was one of the great innovative San Ildefonso potters of the late 1900s.  This is an early bowl that is fully polished red.  There are 44 tightly painted feathers around the body of the piece.  It was fired a deep red coloration.  It is signed, “Blue Corn”.  It is in very good condition with no chips, cracks, restoration, or repair.  There is an original invoice from 1968.
