Blue Corn was one of the great innovative San Ildefonso potters of the late 1900s.  This is an early bowl that is fully polished red.  It was painted with 47 feathers around the top of the shoulder.  The piece was fired a deep red coloration.  It is signed, “Blue Corn”.  It is in very good condition with no chips, cracks, restoration, or repair.
