This is a unique figurative piece by Marie Z. Chino.  It is a rooster made from Acoma clay. The body and tail are painted with feather patterns.  The wings are her classic fineline designs.  Marie made a variety of chickens and rooster figures.  The piece is signed on the bottom in clay, “Marie Z. Chino”.  It is in excellent condition with no chips, cracks, restoration or repair.  Definitely charming!
