This is a larger clay owl by Marie Z. Chino.  It is a classic Acoma owl made from Acoma clay. The owl has painted feathers and red clay for the beak and eyes.  The owl has extended wings and feathers on the top of its head.  The feathers are all painted on the body.  It is a charming shape and complex in design.  It is signed on the bottom, “Marie Z. Chino”.  It is in excellent condition with no chips, cracks, restoration or repair.
