This is a tightly painted seedpot by Marie Z. Chino. Marie is famous as one of the revivalists at Acoma Pueblo, along with Lucy M. Lewis, Jessie Garcia, and a few others. This seedpot is thin-walled and painted with bee-weed (black). The design on the top is a star made with thickly painted lines. The seedpot was traditionally fired, so there are some very slight color variations to the white. It is in very good condition with no chips, cracks, restoration, or repair. It is signed on the bottom, “M. Z. Chino”.

This seedpot is thin-walled and painted with bee-weed (black). The design on the top is a plant in the center with interlocking plants coming up from the sides.
