1991 was one of the peak years for the realism in the pottery of Joseph Lonewolf.  This mini seedpot is exceptional for its detail and realistic trout.  There are two trout jumping out of the water.  There are six mayflies etched into polished red medallions.  The trout are realistically etched into the clay and even the water has a sense of motion.  Each mayfly is different.  There is a small, realistic butterfly near the base to represent beauty.   Near the base is the yearly symbol for 1991, which is a symbol of World Peace.  The seedpot has an amazing amount of detail for the size!  It is signed on the bottom, “Joseph Lonewolf”.  It is in excellent condition with no chips, cracks, restoration or repair.
