This jar by Jody Naranjo is from 1999.  It is highly polished along the neck. The sides of the jar are matte and there are eight women holding pottery in different forms.   There is a classic wedding vase with a bear paw, a bowl, and a vase.  There are different designs on most of the pieces of pottery. The jar has a deep, dark brown coloration from the firing.  The neck has incised rain designs.  The jar is signed, “Jody Naranjo” and it is in excellent condition with no chips, cracks, restoration or repair.
