Johnathan Naranjo is one of the creative young innovators in Pueblo pottery.  This seedpot is fully polished and fired a brown coloration. Johnathan etches his pieces after they are fired and lightly etches into the top layer of the polished surface! That creates the reddish-brown coloration of the design.   This piece has two realistic foxes.  One is jumping, and one is sitting.  They are surrounded by falling aspen leaves and more leaves around the bottom of the seedpot.  The piece is exceptional in its detail and realism.  It is signed, “Johnathan Naranjo”.   It is in excellent condition with no chips, cracks, restoration, or repair.  Johnathan has won numerous awards for his pottery and  Johnathan is definitely one of the young potters to watch!
