Nora Naranjo-Morse is known for creative clay figures and sculptural work. This flat figure is made of micaceous clay.  It is held on a wooden stand that was made for the piece.  It is entitled, “Santo Domingo Fetish”, which of course, is about the earrings and six necklaces the figure is wearing.  Maybe she is a good luck fetish for more jewelry to come her way!  The figure is black and brown in coloration with the mica giving it an added sparkle.  It is signed, “Nora” on the back. It is in excellent condition with no chips, cracks, restoration or repair.
