Paulita Pacheco was a sister of noted potter Robert Tenorio. She was married to Gilbert Pacheco and her daughter, Rose Pacheco continues to make traditional-style Kewa pottery. Paulita learned to make pottery from her mother Juanita C. Tenorio and grandmother Andrea Ortiz. This bowl has a round shape. There are four deer painted on the surface of the jar. Each has a different design on the body. The piece is signed on the bottom, “Paulita Pacheco”. It is in very good condition with no chips, cracks, restoration, or repair.
