The front is painted with a classic Nampeyo of Hano-stylized Sikyatki bird. The bird’s head is near the base with the wings and tail above.  The canteen was coil-built and painted with bee-weed (black) and polished red areas. It was traditionally fired which creates blushes on the surface.  Is signed with her “RS” stylized hallmark.  It is in excellent condition with no chips, cracks, restoration, or repair.
