Geraldine Sandia is known for her intricately painted Jemez pottery. This jar is coil-built, stone-polished, and painted with clay slips. The top has painted feathers.  Below them are plant designs.  Around the side are feather and cloud designs.  It is a complex and detailed design across the entire surface of the jar.  The jar is signed, “Geraldine Sandia”.  It is in excellent condition with no chips, cracks, restoration, or repair.
