Kathleen Jopovi Tafoya Silva (b.1947) is a daughter of Mary Agnes Tafoya and a granddaughter of Severa Tafoya. She learned to make pottery from her grandmother.  This is a small wide shoulder jar. The jar is highly polished and fired to a glassy black.  It is signed, ‘Jopovi Tafoya Silva”.  It is in excellent condition with no chips, cracks, restoration or repair.
