Santanita Suazo was the mother of Margie Naranjo, Martha Huangooah, Mae Tapia, and Shirley Duran. This bowl is coil built, stone polished, painted, and traditionally fired a glassy black. The bowl has a round shape and it is painted with a sun and prayer feather design. It is signed on the bottom in the clay, “Santanita Suazo”. It is in very good condition with no chips, cracks, restoration, or repair.
