This seedpot by Camilio Tafoya is from 1984. It is fully polished and fully designed. It is a very complex and well-executed design. The seedpot has a thunder design on the top. Around the sides are four buffalo.  Each is different in style and each is very detailed in Camilio’s style.  There are additional clay accents of green and white. The colors are all added from various clay slips.  Camilio was living with Joseph Lonewolf, his son, when he made this.  Joseph would give him the clay slips to use for the colors.  The piece is signed on the bottom “Camilio Sunflower”. It is in excellent condition with no chips, cracks, restoration, or repair.
