This is a creative seed jar by Jennifer Tafoya.  She is known for her clay vessels and also her amazing animal figures!  This jar has a square shape which comes to a point on the top  There are two realistic octopuses etched into the clay.  Scan in on them as the detail is incredible!  They are surrounded by Asian/Japanese painting-style waves.  It is a colorful and complex piece.  The bottom is also fully polished and has additional small fish.   All the colors are derived from natural clay slips.  It is signed on the bottom in the clay, “Jennifer Tafoya”.
