Jennifer Tafoya is known for her clay vessels and amazing animal figures! This small jar is fully polished and etched. One side has two realistic trout swimming. They are surrounded by 10 other trout of various types swimming in various positions. It is a very detailed piece for the size! After Jennifer has etched the designs into the clay, she then adds additional clay slips for the various colors. All the various colors are derived from natural clays that Jennifer seeks out herself. It is signed on the bottom, “Jennifer & Mike Moquino”. It is in excellent condition with no chips, cracks, restoration, or repair. Jennifer continues to be one of the leading innovative potters working today!
