This is a classic bowl by Lorraine Williams.  It has a round body and it is fully designed.  The bowl has a corrugated cloud and connecting mountain design.  Lorraine’s style of corrugation has a triangular appearance. It is highlighted in red.  The bowl was traditionally fired and was covered in pinon pitch, which is typical of all traditional Navajo pottery harkening back to when it was utilitarian.   It is signed on the bottom in the clay, “LW”.  Lorraine has won numerous awards for her pottery and has been featured in books such as “A Legacy of Generations”.
