Christopher Youngblood creates intricately carved vessels that reflect a perfect balance of matte and polished surfaces with intricately carved designs. This jar has straight side and is deeply carved. There are water swirls on the top and bottom.  In the center the water is deeply carved behind five Manta Rays.  Each Manta is fully polished and a striking contrast to the matte areas of the jar.  It is signed on the bottom in the clay, “Chris Youngblood”.  Definitely a creative jar in design and imagery!
