This is a small plate by Maria Martinez.   It was made and polished by Maria Martinez and painted by her daughter-in-law Santana.  The plate is painted with lightning, cloud, and rain designs around the outer rim. The center is fully polished.  The surface is highly polished and fired to a deep black appearance.  The plate is signed on the back, “Maria + Santana”.  It is in very good condition with no chips, cracks, restoration, or repair.
